Inside the SynFutures Korea Community Meetup

On November 25, the SynFutures Korea community came together for a full-house meetup in Gangnam — a night that blended education, entertainment, trading, creativity, and community connection.

The event was carefully planned and hosted by our Korea Growth Leads Lily Kim and Ryan Lee, with support from the SynFutures global team. From the moment doors opened, the venue filled quickly with traders, designers, beginners, longtime supporters, and curious newcomers.

Kickoff with product insights

The evening opened with remarks and a keynote by Mark Lee, followed by a presentation from Wenny Cai. Together, they covered:

• SynFutures’ evolution and rebranding
• Recent growth across networks
• Technology upgrades and upcoming Q4 improvements
• RWA exploration
• The pathway toward mainnet launch
• The broader direction SynFutures is moving toward as a full-stack onchain financial layer

There was also a short segment introducing Monday Trade, highlighting testnet performance, user activity, and what’s coming next.

Trading action and community creativity

The meetup featured multiple community-driven activities, starting with a 3-day demo trading competition held before the event, where participants traded on the ABC testnet and submitted their highest PnL at check-in. Three winners were announced on-site.

Later in the evening, four traders took the stage for a live trading battle, creating one of the night’s most engaging moments as the audience followed their real-time positions on the big screens.

The program also celebrated the creativity of the Korean community through the SynFutures Character Contest, where participants designed potential new mascots; winners received gift certificates, meal vouchers, coffee coupons, and special commemorative medals.

Community highlights & atmosphere

Guests enjoyed a lively, full venue with plenty of chances to connect, from the buffet line and photo spots to merch and character contest displays. Even first-time attendees found the environment welcoming, supported by large trading dashboards, glowing blue lighting, and the polished “New Futures” stage design.

The interactive app-based quiz was a crowd favorite, with prizes ranging from AirPods to Baemin vouchers, Starbucks coupons, merch, and a ready bag for all participants. A raffle added another round of excitement with additional AirPods and smaller rewards.

Post-event feedback was overwhelmingly positive, praising the clear presentations, immersive setup, fun activities, and the team’s approachable presence. Overall, it was a vibrant and memorable evening for the Korean SynFutures community.
