We get it. DeFi in its current form is not for everyone. As much as we’ve simplified the UI/UX over time, we’re bound by crypto and blockchain’s inherent complexities. And they show up in the app interface and user journey, raising the barrier to entry.
There’s just too much to do when you use DeFi. Between hopping across chains, hunting for the best rates, setting up trading strategies, and keeping up with market signals, even seasoned traders may sometimes feel like they’re playing 4D chess.
Is there a solution? You bet.
We’ve designed Synthia, SynFutures’ new AI agent, to simplify DeFi through natural language commands.
No complicated interfaces. No jumping through tabs. Just type what you want to do or what information you need, and Synthia delivers instantly.
Sounds good? Well, that’s only Phase 1 of our three-phase AI roadmap.
Eventually, we want to create an AI-powered framework that takes DeFi to its easiest mode so everyone and their moms can use it on a daily basis.

What is Synthia?
Synthia is an AI-powered execution agent that lets you trade, swap, and transfer assets using simple text commands—directly on X (formerly Twitter).
Imagine replying to an X post with “Swap 100 USDC for ETH”, and boom, Synthia finds the best price and executes the trade for you.
At launch, Synthia’s alpha version will support:
- Spot trading: Swap assets via SynFutures’ Spot Aggregator, by just posting text commands on X.
- Smart routing: Get the best prices across multiple spot DEXs.
- Onchain execution: Every action happens transparently onchain.
- Asset transfers: Transfer any asset to anyone on Base.
- Market intel: Synthia will share market updates, analysis, trending opportunities, and more.
We plan to eventually unlock more advanced features for Synthia, like perpetual futures trading, real-time crypto insights, liquidity management, and trading strategies.
What makes Synthia relevant today?
Look at DeFi today. Too many platforms, too many wallets, too many assets to trade, too much information.
There’s no way any user can manually navigate all of this. Let alone newcomers, even experts find it difficult.
So, we don’t just aim to make yet another AI agent of Synthia.
We aim to make it the single interface users need to interact with to execute nearly any transaction on DeFi across any protocol on all major chains.
So, whether you want to swap assets or bridge and swap in the same transaction, you’ll never need to engage with a protocol. You can simply ask Synthia to do it on your behalf. It’ll automatically choose the most cost or time-efficient route for you and process the transaction.
Or, if you want to be a liquidity provider and generate passive yields, Synthia can autonomously set your funds up for the highest possible yield across protocols.
It’s like going back in time and asking your investment agent to make an investment for you. Only this time, instead of a person, it’s an AI agent who’s faster, smarter, and more effective.
It’s all the more effective for a regular person’s lifestyle given most of us check our socials first thing in the morning.
So, imagine waking up, checking X on your phone, and seeing something bullish about ETH. Now, instead of opening any other app or logging in to protocols, you can simply type your command to Synthia and buy more ETH.
You can also reply to one of Synthia’s market analysis posts and ask it to buy a token it’s talking about. At launch, this functionality will only be available for Base tokens, but we’ll soon expand Synthia’s capabilities to tokens on other chains as well.
How can you use Synthia?
If you’re ready to give Synthia a spin, here’s how you can get started:
Step 1: Sign up or log in on Synthia's Portal (ai.synfutures.com) using your X account and create a Privy wallet.
Step 2: Delegate your account to Synthia so it can execute transactions on your behalf.
Step 3: Fund your Privy wallet so that Synthia can use it for transactions. Use only Base network as Synthia currently only supports Base. It'll go multichain soon.
Step 4: Post a swap or transfer command like “Swap 10 USDC for ETH” or “Transfer 50 USDC to 0xqwre323…” and tag Synthia’s X handle: @Synthia_SF
You can also use .base.eth or .eth domains of users to transfer assets on Base. At a later stage, you’ll be able to transfer assets directly to X users by adding their usernames.
Furthermore, we’ll soon enable leverage trading and cross-chain execution.
Note: Due to X API limits, Synthia can only interact with 10 posts per hour per account. We’ll eventually scale this and ensure near-instant execution for all our users.
Building a fully AI-driven DeFi ecosystem
Once the Phase 1 rollout of our AI-powered DeFi is complete, Synthia will be capable of performing many complex DeFi transactions.
We’ll then work on Phase 2 and three. Here’s what that will entail:
Phase 2: AI Agent Framework

We’re done with using DeFi on hard mode and seeing users struggle with understanding or executing any kind of transaction on DeFi. That’s why, we don’t see Synthia as just an automated trading tool.
To us, Synthia and our AI framework is an attempt to offer DeFi on easy mode to everyone. We want to create an interface that lets users use DeFi without directly interacting with DeFi protocols.
