One of the biggest crypto events in the world took place last week as more than 5,000 developers, founders, investors, and blockchain enthusiasts came together in Singapore for TOKEN2049, along with a bevy of outside events.

Pantera Summit
Before the TOKEN2049 festivities kicked off, our friends and investors Pantera Capital held the Pantera Blockchain Summit. SynFutures Partner and CSO Matthew Liu spoke on the intersection of traditional finance and crypto during a panel featuring other notable founders and leaders, including Bybit CEO Ben Zhou, Head of APAC Sales at Coinbase Kayvon Pirestani, and Anchorage Digital CEO Diogo Monica.
For the past several years, Pantera has hosted some of the biggest names in the blockchain and crypto at their summits, so we were honored to have SynFutures represented at the first-ever Singapore summit.
TOKEN2049 Recap
TOKEN2049 is the premier crypto event, organized annually in Singapore and London, where founders and executives of the leading Web3 companies share their views on the market. In Singapore, TOKEN2049 is the distinguished flagship event of Asia Crypto Week, which features a week of various independently organized side events around TOKEN2049.
While there were hundreds of exhibitors, attendees who came by the SynFutures booth had the opportunity to meet and talk with key members of our leadership team, including Partner and CTO Yizhou Cao, Partner and CMO Mark Lee, and Matthew Liu.
Several of our existing partners and investors also dropped by the booth, many of whom we met for the first time in person.
SynFutures x Pantera DeFi Social
Hosting an off-site party is a great way to meet new people and projects, and thanks to our friends at Pantera Capital and StarryNift, we were able to host an epic after-party marking the close of Asia Crypto Week and the start of Singapore F1 weekend.
Hosted at a rooftop escape & social space overlooking the skyline of Singapore’s Central Business District, attendees kicked back with other Web3 and DeFi founders, builders, and investors and enjoyed music, food, free-flowing drinks, and most importantly, good vibes.
We had a great time at Token2049 and look forward to attending next year’s event!
